My father is looking to purchase a 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint. There is one currently available on eBay. The picture shows a clean car in good shape. I told him that he should get the VIN number and run it through CarFax. Is there anything else that he should look into prior to bidding?

More than anything check for undercarriage rust just like you would on a vintage Mustang. They rot out in all the same places.
