Well...I don't know if it was from the big thunderstorm we had a couple nights ago...cause that is when I noticed it...but now my horn doesn't work, my speed control is inop, and my A/C isn't working. I found a burnt fues...for the horn...replaced it and it was blown again when I got home. I made an appointment to get it looked at Mon morning...errrrr I hate it when stuff happens to my car.

Well...I am not sure if this is important to anyone but I like to put what I have encountered with my Bullitt #805.

I took her in Monday to have the inop horn, speed control, and also my A/C inop. Also was experiencing some shifting side to side in my seat when I turned a corner, and told them about the moan noise I was having when I shifted and pushed in the clutch. Here is what they found.

Horn.....bad...new one on order...be here sometime next week

speed control...associated with horn...works fine now since they pulled the bad horn out and replaced the fuse.

A/C...it wasn't blowing cold air...they found it out of freon...found a loose accumulator line....tightened and serviced freon....works great now.

clutch noise...they just so happened to have another Bullitt there so they checked to see if it made the noise too...it did. They weren't sure what was causing the noise..thought maybe it was normal characteristic of the car...they did however say that a few other Bullitt owners have reported the same noise and filled an inquiry with Ford about it...so be on the lookout for a possible recall for a fix.

Shifting seat...seat assembly bad, couldn't get it to tighten...new one on order.

Here is a funny little side note but it also irritated me a bit as well. The tech's were asstounded with my CDC remote fueldoor and tried to open it...I guees there were about 5 or 6 out there trying to open it...why?...don't ask me...no reason for them to open it. They compared it with their Bullitt..and discovered a difference...go figure...morons. I didn't leave my remote with them only the key. They asked my salesman about it...of course he had no clue...but he called me about it yesterday...hehe What irritated me..wasn't so much them trying to open it as the fact that I found out that they had removed the hex screw from it trying to take it apart...leave it alone...you break it you buy it bud. Anyway...I showed them when I got there...they liked it alot...like little children with a new toy.

Ok...I am sorry for rambling...but I hadn't posted in awhile...so...I am off to go driving.

BTW...I removed my air silencer and put in a K&N...she sounds a bit more rumblier...hehe.
