Hey everyone,

I was just thinking of all the "famous Fords" that have, like the '68 'stang, gone down in pop culture history. However, I know little about them. I have the ones I know listed below and if anyone can fill in tech'/spec' gaps on these and or contribute other Fords I may have missed... please do.

'68 Mustang GT Fastback 390 - Bullitt
'74(?) Mustang - Gone In 60 Seconds "Eleanor"
'67 Shelby GT 500 - Gone in 60 Seconds (2000)
Ford Falcon XB Coupe - Mad Max
64 Mustang - Goldfinger
6? Mustang - On Her Majesty's Secret Service

Any that I missed? Wouldn't a rereleased/updated "Mad Max" edition Ford Falcon be sweet?

I think Burt Reynolds drove a Galaxy doing moonshine runs in "Gator" or something like that. I was a small boy at the time but I thought the Galaxy had several mods.

One of my all time faves, the 32 Deuce driven by John Millner in American Graffiti. I did really like Starskys Torino too.

Blastof,
That was 73 Mach1 in Marked for death. They said the Mustang in the 1974 Gone in 60 Seconds was 73 but the only thing 73 was the Grill, everyting else was 71-72. ie frt bumper and spash pan, Flip open fuel cap is a 71 only part. I've spent quality time watching that movie. Did anyone notice at the beginning of the chase the gas guage is on E, in one veiw, They went on to run for another 30 min's. My 73 Mach1 would have run out.
Did anyone mention the Charger from Drity Larry and Crazy Mary.
Or the Hemi Challenger in Vanishing Point.
The Black Hemi Cuda from, SH*T I can't remember the name of the movie. It had little dudes with brown Monk outfits and a evil funneral home, and the 2 Stars were brothers and The evil little Dudes chase the Brothers in the Cuda. Help a non-spelling/can't remember brother out, whats the name of that flick.
The Blue Tempo in Road trip.

BULLITT4003 AND MYSELF ARE POSSIBLY GIVING AWAY OUR AGES TALKING ABOUT THUNDER ROAD. IT STARRED ROBERT MITCHUM AND ONE OF HIS SONS, (DON'T KNOW WHICH). HE DROVE A HOT 50 FORD AT THE FIRST OF THE MOVIE, THEN HE WRECKED AND DIED IN A 57 FAIRLANE. THE MAN HE BOUGHT THE 57 FROM GUARANTEED HIM IT WOULD DO 130(MPH) ON THE FLAT(ON A FLAT ROAD). HE CRASHED THROUGH TWO 57 FORDS IN A CHASE. THEY WERE THE LESS EXPENSIVE MODELS. BOTH THE 50 AND HTHE 57 WERE MODIFIED TO HAUL MOONSHINE. THEY WERE SET UP TO "DUMP" THE LOAD ON THE MOVE IF ABOUT TO BE CAUGHT. ALSO, THE 50 USED AN OIL DUMP ON THE BACK BUMPER TO WRECK THE REVENUERS IF THEY GOT TOO CLOSE BY SPRAYING OIL ALL OVER THE ROAD.

THERE WAS ON OLD MERC IN AN OLDER MOVIE THAN THAT, I THINK CALLED "TOBACCO ROAD". THE STAR BOUGHT IT NEW AND DROVE THROUGH THE SHOW ROOM WIMDOW AT DELIVERY. HE RAN INTO TREES AND OTHER THINGS SAYING "IT DON'T HURT THE RUNNIN' OF IT NONE". I THINK IT WAS A 46 MODEL.

THE MOVIE BONNIE & CLYDE USED MOSTLY OLD FORDS FOR THE MOVIE. CLYDE SAID HE WOULDN'T DRIVE ANYTHING BUT A FORD V8.
