Nah, I like the GT. The only one that I have seen that I really like is the one that says Bullitt above the GT (McQueen, I think). Otherwise, I'll stay just plain old GT.

#570 also has the decklid Bullitt badges above the GT emblems. The first owner apparently added them and some nice window tint and then only put 4700 miles on it. At first I thought about removing them but figured I'd probably end up scratching it in the process. But, they've grown on me and besides, they let onlookers know what they're looking at.

I don't think that McQueen's are actually decklid emblems. I think that they are decals but not sure.

That's funny...I just ran into a Saleen this morning. Not literally.
I was getting on the freeway, and I thought, cool...there's a nice black Mustang in front of me. I get a little closer, and in the dark all I can see is the badge. I couldn't even read it at first.
It looked good, but of course, he really was a Saleen!
Must be nice...a Saleen as a daily driver!

I guess I'm leaning the other way.
Has anyone else considered taking the Bullitt off the rear?

The ones who know what a Bullitt is can identify it without the badging.
The ones who don't usually assume a Bullitt is simply a dressed up GT with no go.

There are no holes, correct?

I ordered the side emblem that came on the 289 slab side shelby cobra, rectangular emblem
that says Powered by Ford with the blue Ford oval beneath the lettering. It doesn,t say Cobra on it and from what I,ve read this emblem was the partial solution between Shelby,AC cars, and Ford because of the number of companies involved in that project.
Anyway, when they arrive I,ll hold them up to the car and see.Dont think its going to happen the Bullitt is a tuff one to make even slight changes to,for me anyway.

I think Ford should have left the badging off altogether as they did on the concept car. I like some of the ideas, "281" would be cool, but I have a hard time making any changes to the car, c'mon, we all got Bullitts man!

This would look cool, like the old K code.

That was before I saw Arthur's in person! I still do like just the GTs, but I like the ponies better.

If you keep searching you will also probably find a couple of threads where I said I was going to stay bone stock
