Well today the income tax return finally came and the heads and manifold are on their way to Fulerton CA. Should be a four to five day trip, two to three weeks with PowerHeads, and four or five days back. Then it's reassembly time.

I went ahead and ordered a service manual on cd for the '01 Mustangs. This cost me $175!!! Ouch, but there is no way I will button up the engine without being absolutely positive that those cams are properly aligned. The engine and drivetrain book was $180, while the repair manual was 170. Both could be had for 175 on cd-rom and thats what I went with. I'm going to be sick if I don't get detailed instructions with some pics out of this!

Also have BBK Long Tubes on the way from Holcomb Motorsprt. They were the only place I could find that had them in stock. Every place else had them on back order except for Excessive who wanted to charge 599!

Also on the way is an off road X from Dr gas. And I already have my mil eliminaters. So things are finally moving along with this project. I'll keep everyone updated once I get the heads back and will post the flow numbers before and after as well.

Nope, I wanted an x and looked around quit a bit. The pipe I got form Dr. Gas will fit the BBK or Mac Long Tubes. It's a five peice deal, the x pipe and 4 tubes that will be welded up after they are fitted.

I know this is probably not what you want to hear, but I think a guy on Ebay was selling some Ford repair manuals on CD for $16.00, around there...'copied' of course. At least you got the real deal and aren't infringing any copyright issues.

Steve,
I'm not sure the car will be fast enough to take on you or Ann yet  , maybe after I get the superturbochargernosblower installed I give it a shot!! I'm also pretty sure it's not going to be put back together by the 30th

And yes that 175 for the manuals did hurt but at least I'll have a great reference for anything on the car, or what's left of it anyway...

I wasn't thinking you would bring the Bullitt, Just come out and met more of the people from www.Showmemustang.com I do not know how far Fast Eddies is from Jerseyville. I am hoping for a better turn out than the Louisiana Cruise, (more variety). I went to the meeting last month and signed up I was surprised at the amount of people there.
