Well today the income tax return finally came and the heads and manifold are on their way to Fulerton CA. Should be a four to five day trip, two to three weeks with PowerHeads, and four or five days back. Then it's reassembly time.
I went ahead and ordered a service manual on cd for the '01 Mustangs. This cost me $175!!! Ouch, but there is no way I will button up the engine without being absolutely positive that those cams are properly aligned. The engine and drivetrain book was $180, while the repair manual was 170. Both could be had for 175 on cd-rom and thats what I went with. I'm going to be sick if I don't get detailed instructions with some pics out of this!
Also have BBK Long Tubes on the way from Holcomb Motorsprt. They were the only place I could find that had them in stock. Every place else had them on back order except for Excessive who wanted to charge 599!
Also on the way is an off road X from Dr gas. And I already have my mil eliminaters. So things are finally moving along with this project. I'll keep everyone updated once I get the heads back and will post the flow numbers before and after as well.
