I just received my Ford Customer Appreciation package in the mail today, approximetely 6 weeks after taking delivery of my Bullitt. All it contained was a small bottle of the touch up paint and a little pocket size quick reference guide with lamented flip pages of all the basic features of the car, dials, switches, instrumentation & dashboard features, just the usual basic stuff that is explained fully in the regular owners manual, etc...

I was promised one 3 months ago. I was anxious to get one as it contains touch up paint. But we got a bottle of it from our body shop that did the paint job on our trunk, so we quit waiting by the mail box.

Appreciation Pack???

I never heard of that. Is this for Bullitt owners or for all Mustang owners. I had my last mustang 6 months and never recieved a thing. I've had this car almost 3 months and the same goes for this one. I was also expecting something from ford to commemorate the Bullitt, something similiar to what the 35th anniversery guys recieved.

In appreciation of the fact that I purchased a Bullitt sight unseen and without so much as even a test drive --- About two months after picking the car up, Ford was proud to present me with a 'klunk' from my transmission. This was soon followed up by a shrug and a sigh from my local dealer when I went in to thank them.

Thanks Ford! You guys really know how to make a customer feel special.

Here is the phone number to call to see if you are eligible to receive an appreciation pack from Ford. 1-800-490-4060
Like rsom1 said, "Your dealer has to be registered for the program."

OK, now I feel really stupid. I pride myself on reading everything that Ford communicates to the dealership, but I never read anywhere that we had to register to be part of this "program." I guess I missed that memo OR Ford hid the message in an obscure memo - gee thanks, Ford!

I haven't recieved anything from Ford since buying the Bullitt. Did get mailed 5 cd's, leather carrier for them, and a Mustang key ring when we bought our '99 GT.

LOL Five Oh B(rian)! When the guy called me shortly after we got the Bullitt for the survey they do, he gave me those phone numbers. So I called the one for the appreciation package and found out that my dealer was an approved dealership. That was back in June. I guess they forgot about me. Oh well, I already have a bottle of touch up from the body shop. Who needs the literature that comes with it.

I had a new 99 GT convertible and I got the 35th anniversary package. I still have the package intact. That was a great premium. Ford also sent me a pair of neat folding outdoor chairs when I purchased a Sportrac. I have gotten nothing with my Bullitt and it was purchased on May 7, 2001.
