Hi Jim, if you are refering to the 68s in the movie, ford had a contract with warner bros to provide
cars thru ford west coast public relations.
Nothing has ever been mentioned about a ford dealer, they could have been built in san jose, cali
and delivered to the PR office.

Hope this helps and if anyone has any other info plz feel free to add.

I have read similar reports. Seems no dealer may have even been involved. Since I got ripped off by our lovely state (they did NOT send me JJZ109 plates like they SAID they would) I have some olde tyme license plate frames from Serramonte Ford in Colma...(oldest, largest dealer in the bay area). I just thought if I could find out for sure which dealership the 68's came from, I could get plate frames from that dealership. :cool: to use on my '08.
I guess I will be happy with my 1PP05 plates and the Serramonte Ford chrome frame.
