im coming close to supercharging and all this talk about the pistons fryings is just too much...

ive heard here about forging the internals and beefing up the bottom to make our stock engines better capable of handling the boost...

what options are there and what kind of $$$ are we talking about..

any info or comments will be great!!

If your going do it right I would suggest what I did. I had the following stuff done with a price for everything at the bottom.

JE Forged Pistons
Manley Forged Rods
Cobra Crank
Canton 7qt Oil pan
Heads fully ported
HP Custom re-grind cams (.531 lift, 292 duration, 114 lobe)
Moly Plasma rings

total was around $5000

The Canton oil pan did come with a windage tray. Got it at Houston Performance for $349. The displacement did change to 330ci. It will be the first 330ci stroker out there from my understanding. Should be done next week.
