I know that many may be going to the big dinner event on Friday night but after all of the traveling that Emma and I will be doing there and back I decided we are not going to spend another two hundred dollars to go the Boys Republic dinner spectacular.

So if there are others who will not be going we could get together for dinner elsewhere.

Any thoughts?

Actually............
The dinner is being prepared and served by the students and staff of Boys Republic.
And, after having attended an organizers meeting at Boys Republic, with catered lunch served up by them.....one thing I can tell you.....

It will NOT be any rubber chicken!! What I have had was freakin awesome!!
I do not know what their menu is for Friday's dinner, but based on experience, these folks know how to cook!!! Just another shining example of the quality of this school as to what they teach, enable and produce.

Your sister-in-law asked if you had mentioned Sees Candies yet....guess you're pretty predictable !!!!!
When it comes to See's.....
given I am a born and raised CA boy addicted to chocolate...
and the fact that I can't get See's here in GA.....

Oh HELL ya I am predictable!! Anytime I go to CA to visit, I always bring back multiple pounds, and ration it.

Trunk full.....ya'll think I'm kidding!

Still based on all of the expenses, $100 per person is more than i am going to shell out on this event.

I lived with the Dutch far too long and like them I am cheap! Sorry that would be frugal.

Make sure to line the trunk with trash bags. Chocolate covered space saver doesn't have a nice ring to it.

Brad, that's too funny! Detailing the trunk would take on proportions of a whole new experience! :)
