OK, I see that people are finding fixes now for the pinging from 87 fuel. My solution as others was to simply use a higher rated octane. I just want know if the 92 octane I am using will eventually cause problems within my car.

I notice you have a low numbered Bullitt. The timing profile in the computer of early cars was slightly more agressive than later numbered cars. There was a TSB out about this and the dealer can reflash the computer to load the later version timiing profile. I have not had this done, I just run higher octane fuel to prevent detonation.
