Here we go again!!!! I don't mean to sound like an a$$ but we went over this a couple weeks ago.
Frankly I think BON has resorted to Blood and guts News reporting.
Almost all cars leak someing after a 50 MPH rear end crash. I would be more concerned with my neck and head.
My point is, I could die tonight walking across the parking lot, life is bad, you die from it. I don't get wrapped up from News people who think they are helping us by frightening us.
We discussed the Explorer roll overs also, I Frimly believe if people that rolled those trucks drove them like trucks instead of cars they wouldn't be hurt or dead. ie I get passed on the interstate all the time by SUV's hauling A$$. Almost all SUV's have truck tires and the last time I checked my Firestones on my F150 wern't rated for high speed use, to me high speed use is anything over the speed limit.
I'll say this again, if anyone who smokes is frightened by these blood and guts news. I don't want to hear it, your sucking on a death ticket. I personally don't care if you smoke at all it's your life not mine, just don't tell me I drink to much. I Know I do, if from worrying about and fretting over all the trouble in the world. I really want to figure out world peace.

I'm not sure I understand the testing standards. Are they talking about a stopped car getting hit at 50mph? That would be much greater impact than two moving vehicles (assuming of course that in a rear-end collision both cars are traveling the same direction). Frankly I wouldn't expect to be able to drive away from that kind of an impact.
