What is the trick to removing the clear plastic lens cover that covers our gauges?
I bought the brushed aluminum stick on kit that is applied UNDER the clear plastic lens, but it looks like the seal is relatively permanent on this and dont want to have to break the seal if it isn't meant to be broken.
If anyone has done this, please let me know the trick!

Talk to a Ford Service rep--I do not believe you can remove the clear plastic-you take it apart from behind--hey-pull the dash apart. I could be way wrong but TALK to someone who really knows before you start pulling and prying.

I used a hot wire knife to cut the section apart to install a satin alum bezel, reglued with hot glue gun. I had a bought a extra stock unit to make the mod.
