When the Ford guy was taliking about the engine turned dash treatment,he stated it reminds people of that type of thing,back in the 1968 time period. If I recall,woodgrain dash trim was the big deal,even in 1965.

I think he just mean't it looks a bit retro. I don't think anyone would want that awful fake woodtrim that they used in the 60's.
