Headlight protection

Since I am a "protect the car" freak I have found a way to protect the lenses from rock chips. It's called Cleartastic and can be used on the paint as well. Comes in sheets which can be cut. Does not have an adhesive so it clings by static. For no air bubbles get wet with alcohol solution and squeegee out air. Can also be positioned and moved
around with solution. Turn the headlights
on and use a hairdryer to heat Cleartastic
for better fit on bends for no wrinkles.
Some spotting may initially appear but once
the alcohol solution drys underneath the spotting goes away, in about 2-3days.

I got the Cleartastic from Ecklers, but I bet you can get it elsewhere. Ecklers phone is 1-800-327-4868. Cleartastics address is PO
Box 333, Ceadarhurst, NY 11516. This stuff is
not as thick as adhesive protectors from 3M, but it can be pulled off and used again. I
also use it on other parts of DHG 3875. Under
the door handles so finger nails won't scratch etc.
