Well, my trip to the mountains this weekend was axed because my friend came down with a cold. So.....

I've got the whole weekend to detail the finish on 2095. Is that a good thing!?

It means I'll have plenty of time with my baby, but the work and distress of fawning over every (read: many) finish defect is in my stars.

I'm sure I'll make the most of it. I'm going to hit it with the orbital polisher. If I can make it better than new, I'll be happy.

Dawn wash....Clay bar....Dawn Wash....Machine level....Machine polish....then Wax....then Wax again....then stay on top with Quick detailer. Then, go after the glass spots. Ughh! The interior will be on the back burner for a while.

Am I sicker than my friend?

No, your just passionate about your Bullitt like the rest of us! My wife thinks I'm anal for washing the car each week, parking way out in the boondocks and covering it every day at work. I just want to keep it looking as new as possible.

#3441, I don't know if you were kidding about the car wash or not,if you were serious I remember reading a post on the site about someone who had the lower molding on their car ripped off by a car wash. Be careful. BlackBullitt#1768
