I hope it me being paranoid. A few nights ago I revved up my Bullitt to around 5000 rpm and slipped the clutch a little. I didn't peel out I just launch it. Well, the problem now is that when I engaged it in first the car seemed to jerk when I put it in first. I had some friends in the car (4 plus me, most I have ever put in the car) and they were laughin that I can't drive stick. Did I mess something up? This morning it felt more or less fine but I was a little nervous/ upset over this. I usually don't even drive the car to hard. I try to baby her. That and I'm not the best racer, nor do I pretend to be. Thanks for any input/ help.

Probably did no harm at all just maybe releasing the clutch a little to soon thats why u get the jerk ! or not depressing it far enuff in so when it does go into first u still have the clutch plate engaged. Now as for me heck man i launched mine the other day at around 4500 with the trac lock off almost went sideways now that was fun! besides its under warranty! heheheheh ! Thanx Havgun! #1676

Thanks, it felt like that but maybe I was just paranoid cause when I had done that I could smell the clutch was burnt. Add to the fact that I had so many people in the car (5 total) probably didn't help. Like I said before it feels pretty much the same today as it always has.

You may want to grab the clutch pedal and pull up on it hard for a few seconds. That adjusts it.
