Last Night after My Mustang clubs meeting at Cavalier Ford I found a salesman and customer looking over 1007... They ask me if it was my car, and replied "Yes". They tell me that they were in the process of dealing on a Black Bullitt on the lot. Both the sales man and his customer wanted to know if I new anything about the Bullitt.
Well did they come to the right guy..... So we parked 1007 next to 4444 and I proceeded to show both the car. 1st question I asked what # was it? Nether knew. So I showed all the Bullitt features/stickers/cool stuff and tell them about the Horse power verses torque.
The customer tells a story about he was looking for a GT with 5 speed and was calling all the local dealers was told about black 4444. So he came running, because he didn't think he would have chance of ever finding a Bullitt.
I told both about Bullittclub so hopefully we'll hear from the proud new Bullitt owner.
The salesman really thanks me and the last I saw them, the new Bullitt owner and his salesman walking of to close the deal.
No I didn't get his name, if I did, I wouldn't remember it, age I guess. Besides My head is full of Bullitt stuff and Tomcat stuff. The only other stuff I really try to remember is My wife's wedding & birthdays. I wish I could remember names the first time I was told. Takes practice I think.
