Man, I'd love to trade 1934 for 0615, just for nostalgic reasons. The sub I was on in the USN was USS Gato, SSN-615.

Of course, I was a mechanic, and it was the oldest nuclear sub in the fleet at the time, so things broke constantly, and I hated it. Not a good legacy! BUT, 5 years later it's a pretty nostalgic thought...

And what do you think of the strut tower brace? Was it expensive, an can you feel a difference in stiffness?

Joe
Bought it direct from Kenny Brown for $150. Front end feels tighter. Stays flatter on corners and going across dips in road and going up the driveway. When power shifting at 5500rpm the front end stays nice and flat. Has not negatively affected the ride quality in any way that I can feel. I'm glad I bought it.

1934...cool to remember stuff like that. I wouldn't mind having Bullitt #01950. Want to buy 00615? :>)

If I had #1950, I just might be trying to twist your arm right now. What's 1950 for you? Birthday?

Joe
Yep, the year I was born. It's kind of like hearing an old tune and you can remember some of the stuff you were doing when the tune was a hit.
cool strut tower brace I just purchased&installed one from maxximum motorsports, went to their location in san luis obispo Ca....nice 240 mile drive....The brace is a little beefier than the kenny brown one but it does cover the sticker, had to relocate mine.....The guys at max/motrspts are very helpfull all the parts are very well designed purchased a lower 4 pt brace too......if i can ever figure out how to use this scanner i will post some pics????
