Has anyone expreienced a faint high pitch sound showing up when gas is pressed. It lasts the duration of the depression, and it showed up at 60 miles (I picked up #03737 with 15 miles on it). It definitely goes away the second I lift my foot. Does not seem right.

Other complaints "out of the box:"
1. Fake side intakes are coming off of the vehicle, especially at the rear edge gap.
2. One of the exposed gas tank screws was not completely tight, and it appears that it torqued against the threads in the screw body. The exposed head of the screw protrudes almost 1/8"!!

Am I too anal or are these issues familiar with the rest of you?

Check your power steerig fluid reservoir. It may be your rack.

a faint high pitched whine/howl is usually alternator whine and is normal.

kinda hard to tell with out looking at it though.

might be the intank fuel pump too, had that sound with other auto's
