Just in case everyone is not yet aware of it; Hooker is getting set to release full headers for the '96-2002 GT's and they are advertised to fit both automatic and 5-speed cars PLUS...Work can be done on the clutch without removal of both headers. They will be available sometime in April along with an O/R X-Pipe to match up to them. Here's the link.

I haven't seen firm pricing anywhere as yet; but some have said $500.00 for Black and $700.00 for Silver Ceramic coated.

I guess this means one of them still has to come off? If they can make them where the clutch can be done without removal of either, I'm there!

No headers need to be removed to change out clutch. I need to get my grubby paws on a set of these along with the off-road X. 25 RWHP gains are attainable with this set-up! I have an auto, and since I refuse to buy Mac products, so Hookers are for me! $500 for some hookers! The kit includes O2 extensions as well.

A note to

[email protected]

I'm interested in the Hooker 6230HKR headers for 4.6 mustang. Mine is the 01 Bullitt. My question is about installation. Can these headers be installed easily without removing the K member? My friends that have other brand headers said that long tubes on these cars go in easier by removing the K member. That sounds like a lot of work. I guess they can't all be as easy as my 68 Fastback.

Thanks
Alton

They slide in from underneath. Install is relatively easy and does not require the removal of the k member.
Thanks,
Chris
