True Blue 5503 is tucked away in the garage on it’s tire savers until this rotten 2019 winter is outta here. Under 35,000 miles and just purchased in August, I can’t get enough of driving this car! That sound! That old school shifter and clutch! TB 5503 is all original, no mods whatsoever! Gonna stay that way under my care. Story of the car is it set covered in the driveway of the original owner for 10 years after he passed away until the widow was able to bring herself to sell it. Fuel system replaced, and it appears professionally detailed because the paint and interior are like new. Along with the car I got an unused set of Bullitt wheels, inserts and Goodyear Eagle ZR tires.
Found the very first insurance card of the original owner behind the glovebox. Googled to the auditor’s site of the town, drilled down though the overhead photo and there, setting in the driveway, is a car with a cover on it! So, true story I figure. Pretty cool to see that!
5532 is now in North Carolina. Just rolled over 14k miles. It's got some worn bushings that I'm getting parts ready to replace. Trying to decide how far I'm willing to mod it since it's so clean and bone stock currently.
I sold mine back in September of last year. It only had 7,800 mile on it so I figure someone has it and it is either sitting in their garage or they are driving it and it's on the road daily. It was number 5245.
118,600 MILES now. Drove it to work today. The AC vents rattle a little bit but mechanically the car is in great shape as is the paint for a 19 year old ride. It put on about 2k miles a year on the B, so it will last a little bit longer. Oh and the best part is it is paid for...
Have not posted in a while, and since I am socially distancing myself at home with some time, I thought I would contribute to this thread to say that TB5577 is still around, serving as a garage queen with around 24,000 miles on the odometer. Almost 19 years - makes me feel kinda old. Take care ya'll.
Don’t stop by here much anymore. Maybe troll every couple months.
True Blue 4383 is still a daily driver. 185,000 on her. Dyno 395 on 91 octane. 3.73 gearshift, 3/4 of that supercharged with the old Allen kit made for our cars (heard shelby bought their company). All on the stock bottom end. (I don’t beat on her but it’s nice for some spirited interstate on ramps and highway fun).
New clutch 50k ago and both axle shafts. But really amazingly little maintenance and great reliability on this car.
I still have my 01 Bullitt 3130 and track the car with over 115k on it. also lately with all the weirdness going on I have been actually driving it more helping my Brother out delivering Pizza. 3 nights a week. To subsidize my reduced pay at my normal job. Everyone stay safe out there.
