Well I was thinking of looking into who owns my old 2001 Bullitt, may be able to buy it back. Does anyone know how to go about searching a friend of mine told me you can get the name and address but no phone number at least it would be a start.

Aug 19 2009 I found the Owner. A grandmother bought #1379 for her Grandson (Lucky Ba$$tard)
She does not want to sell but did take my name and number. Now I wait maybe do a drive by but I will try not to stalk 1379. At least they store it in winter(more than I did):(

:tb01: Hey Mike, finally gonna put those plates back to use are ya???

don't think a used vehicle package gives you the full address of the
current owner but it might be worth a shot.
all you need is the VIN# which I'm sure you still have.

Yup I want it back. And yes I have the plates and want to put them back on the street. I did do the search and came to a dead end. The new owner is Champerdaye Dookhoo in Agincourt Ontario ( I think that's in Scarborough?) Could not find this person on Facebook or 411.ca. I don't have the VIN at work but since I already found the person that is where the search has to start. Any Ontario government officals that can assist on a phone nyumber would be great. Blood hound work accepted. I did look into other 2001 Bullitt's but if I'm going to get one I really want my original one back. I mean really Terry tainted with a test drive before I even bought it. I also looked back at some video when I was in the Bullitt shoot out. Remember the day when I won because Paul red lighted (Thanks Paul) Well guys I looking. Take care. Maybe one day #1379 will be mine again.

Yup found that page. Either he is unlisted or the people I spoke to thought I was after him. All numbers came up as dead ends. Thanks though.

I guess I am after him, but not in a bad way. Yeah I do need the bullitt as a winter beater. I don't want to get any rust on my Rubi. That will stay as my summer toy. The Bullitt was great in the winter. Well I have one more phone number to try. After that I'll start saving for a used 2008/2009 once I get bored of wheeling the Jeep.

I am not sure how this works in Canada, but here in the states, if you know someone who works with or is a state policeman, they can obtain the information based upon the VIN number. Here, it will have to be someone that knows you very well, as it is a streaching the rules a little (or maybe a lot), but the information is available.

If you know someone in law enforcement, you may want to try it. All they can say is NO.

I updated my original post at the top of the thread. Owner found. A grandnmother bought the car for her Grandson. Not interested in parting with the car, but did take my name and number. Now I sit and pine.
