This sucks. They are replacing the 1-2 shift fork and synchronizers to fix my cold morning grind problems. I get it back on Tuesday.

Damn, I miss my car.

It could always be worse... I havn't driven ANYTHING except a mouse for over a month now! One more week to go and my wife will pick me up at the airport in my Bullitt. Talk about a rush try not driving for over a month and then getting behind the wheel of a Bullitt :grin:

That's the reason I haven't taken my car in for the tranny fix or the 'slap'.

I just don't want to be driving a stinky rental car while the car I'm paying for sits in a work lot, waiting on parts.

I surely did not. They broke the speedometer cable when they were trying to get the transmission back in the car. Had to order another one. The warehouse didn't have any. It is being send Fed-Ex from the manufacturer. Hopefully tomorrow.

I feel your pain and I am just over 1 month now! I haven't driven anything except a mouse. Mu Bullitt is gonna feel like a F1 car after so long!
