I tried to sell my 07 Mustang GT Aluminum drive shaft on e-bay and I couldn't get what I wanted. So I installed my first mod in my 08 Bullitt. It is like I am driving the car, with a 1/2 tank of gas @-50LBS !
I am SO glad I didn't sell it !!!
This is the best part of the story, it fixed a problem that came up after the Dealership installed the new tranny after 500 miles on my baby.
I had a heat shield noise for about 5 months now at about 3k rpm. It was driving me NUTS!!!
The dealership looked a little bit at the problem ,and they wanted to have me leave it over night. I said I will wait tell winter so I don't have to be without my Bullitt during the summer.
Well, today I did the nice 3500 rpm shift and I had NO noise at any rpm. I tried all kinds of driving and I couldn't get it to make any noise!
I am so happy now. It is like, the coolest car ever!!!
