In case you haven't read about the terrible thing that happened to my Bullitt, I'll fill ya in. Some boozer backed into my car at a gas station, smashing my driver's side door and rear quarter. Well, on the way to pick up my Bullitt my wife rear-ended a guy at a stop light. She drives an '01 GT. I almost cried. I yelled at here to stop, but she was WAY slow getting on the brakes. I was like "You dumb a$$ woman! Uhhh...Are you OK honey?" Well, I had to walk the rest of the way to the body shop, in the rain. I get there and I just grabbed my keys and left. Yesterday I go out to check out the Bullitt, and I am not pleased with the results. The actual body work is ok, but there is overspray all along the top of the door all the way back to the trunk. It looks all pitted. On the side scoop there are small white particles in the paint. Am I being anal, or is this unacceptable? I was expecting my car to look nearly as good as it did before it was smashed. Should I take the car back to the body shop and ask them to please fix it? I would hate to give my car back right away. It was in the shop for over 2 weeks, and I still have to take it to the dealer for the "Service Engine Soon" light. On the plus side, I can't tell you how good it feels to drive my car again!
