That's the only way I can explain it. I am stuck in a rut of 2.17-2.23 short times with the Nittos now. 17 lbs of air, nice long burnout and thats all I can do.

On December 16 at Funday Sunday in Orlando I managed a couple 1.98 60' times after only getting a best of 2.05 on a regular T&T night. 3 days after that Funday on a T&T, the 60's went out the window. The last three T&T nights have been pretty much the same.

how do you come out of the burnout? The reason I ask is because from my experience, if I "roll" out of the burnout by letting off the brake after the smoke starts streaming, I'll get a nice squeal from the rear as I approach the stage box. If I stop the burnout near the water area (even 10ft in front) and never get a tire squeal, I never seem to hook up worth a darn.

It made a huge difference for me!

I usually let it roll out.

Alot of my problem is after a run blowing the tires off, I become less aggressive not wanting a repeat of that. Then on the next run I will ease out and the 60's are often worse.

I think I might try Gainesville this Saturday. I actually managed better 60's there on Goodyears than I have gotten on the Nittos at Orlando lately.
