Okay you guys, I need help. I'm having trouble shifting from 2nd to 3rd if I have my foot in it hard...
Under normal conditions, it shifts just fine.
But under a load, it's gotten very difficult to hit 3rd quickly.
I have a Hurst Billet/Plus shifter, and it's been fine until now. I'm at a loss here. As I said, it works fine around town...
But if I really push it up to 5k or 6K rpm's, it seems to get really stubborn...

Help...

Thanks in advance,

David

clutch may be going, cable stretched to the limit or the self adjuster not working, needs a tranny fluid change or just another typical 3650 tremec tranny.

i agree with the tranny fluid update. also, make sure the car is completely warmed up before you start to rev her up. i have experienced what you are describing only a couple of times, and both times i would say that the car was not up to its ordinary operating temperature. this may or may not make a difference for you. it did for me.
