Well, the story begins on a Sunday evening coming back from a ride in town with the gf. She had left and went home to her apt. in Starksville and I was on my way out of town. At a previous stoplight, I notice a red Z28 prolly a 96-98 model. A female was driving this fiendish car. As we approach the next stoplight traffic clears as if an act of God and we are about to be side by side at the stoplight. I figured I would be curteous and let her be ahead of me at the light. Me, thinking she wouldn't have a single drop of adrenaline in her (no offense to the ladies), tries to tempt a little when the light turned green by revving 1st about to 4 grand. I shift into 2nd, and the fun began. She an automatic with a long first gear and then the noise began!! I was a little low in second when I reallized she wanted some. That didn't stop me though. We continued equally until I hit about 3500 in second. I start to pull away then I shift into 3rd (SPINNING THE TIRES I MIGHT AD) and I claim the deserved win that all Bullitts deserve over the Z28 we hit almost 90 before she finally gave up. A little dangerous I know, but the adrenaline rush was worth it to put Chevy in their place.
