Hello One And All,
I know that what I am now going to say is not going to be popular, but I must nonetheless state my opinion. I hereby declare that I believe that the color breakdown numbers given by Mr. T are WRONG. Make no mistake, I am not casting any dispersions on Mr. T. In fact, I believe he is a wealth of otherwise-rock-solid information about 2001 Mustang Bullitts. I just don't happen to believe that there were 700+ True Blue Bullitts made. Further, I think that the production number of Dark Highland Green Bullitts he stated is WAY WAY WAY too conservative. In a nutshell, then, I believe there are far more DHG cars, some fewer black ones and far fever true blue ones than he stated existed. Mr. T is my hero.....it is just that in this ONE case, I believe his source(s) supplied him data that just was not - when all was said and done -accurate. If I am proven to be the one that is wrong then I will be the first to graciously admit it. My thoughts here are based on absolutely nothing more than gut feelings after personally visiting dozens of Ford lots and spending literally hour-after-hour searching Ford dealers' inventories via the web the past several months when I was investigating the Bullitt prior to my ultimate acquisition of one. Time will tell - it always does - if Mr. T is correct or if I am (or neither). Does anyone else think my way or am I alone on this one?
Thanks!
