Mac told me one blue moon ago that if I wanted a cold air induction kit, I should order the 99-01 GT CAI system. But, since we have a different throttle body and length from the mass air meter to the throttle than Cobras, what do we do?
The Cobra and Bullitt tubes are the same. They do not make one that extends from the fender wall to our throttle-body. The GT one is obviously too narrow.
Hey i have the Mac cold air kit. I really like it i can hear it at about 3-4k sucking air in but then the famous Bullitt growl is too loud and i can't hear it anymore. If you have anymore questions you can pm me.

Densecharger is testing a throttle to meter pipe. Will most likely sell late this march or early april.
I just got done looking at the Demolet site and they have a kit from the filter to the throttlebody. I have a densecharger from the filter (K&N) to the MAF and wonder if they will make just that portion from the MAF to the throttle body. I am sure I can speak for many of us on this site that have the 100mm densecharger that would like to have the pipe from the MAF to the throttlebody as I sure do not need all the parts in the new kit. John Demolet: any input on this subject?
I met a guy @ HRP my last goes about there and he had the cold air kit... well, part of it. He had the front of the kit, where the filter is in the fenderwell, with the aluminum piping connected to an 80mm Mass air meter. Then it was pretty much stock up it. Maybe I should just order a Cobra one?
I have the prototype Densecharger set-up to the TB. I love it! MAc has a history of making sub-standard quality parts. Their exhaust nearly killed me because of it's poor design. The Densecharger kit is all top notch. I'm very happy with it.
