Instead of the side gt emblems, could this be made???

hey guys, i too dont like the GT emblem on the sides. last night i pulled up to a 98- cobra and we were talking about exhaust, and he didnt even realize it was a bullitt, he said "those regular GT's" needless to say i was a little pissed. damm ford never should have put the bullitt wheels on the GT as an option.

I was thinking that if the GT's, have GT emblems on the side, then the Bullitt's should have bullitt on the side. I know some of you have thought of the same thing, but i want a SMALLER bullitt emblem, i think the rear emblem is too big for the side. Now if i can only get some small bullitt emblems, my problems will be solved. damm ford for not thinking of this.

what do you think???

Yep for sure, Those GT emblems do suck and like u said Ford could have done it different but then that would have cost another 2 bucks  Thanx Havgun#1676
I don't know, guys, there's something about having a "sleeper" that appeals to me. Kinda goes with the understatement of the entire design.
I think it would be real cool... George.. get on it.... hehehe
I'm with BullittGirl. I like the sleeper idea. And I like regular GT's. I've haven't got the time or patience for those that can't figure out that you're driving a Bullitt. It's their loss, not yours. Their ignorance is my bliss.
I agree with Bullittgirl too. I like the sleeper idea. Let em guess and then show em it's not a GT but a BULLITT!! Those that snooze, loose! :-B

If they don't know it's a Bullitt by the DHG then painting BULLITT in 6 inch letters across the side probably won't help either.

My GT emblems are staying right where they are.
What is the latest on getting licensing from
Ford for MGWLTD Bullitt parts?
I too agree with Bullittgirl, besides what is the Bullitt comemorate anyway? A 1968 Mustang "GT".
I do not think it is a sleeper..... My moded 2000GT was pushing 261 at the rear wheeles. And was a lot faster then my stock Bullitt. IF you want a sleeper put nos on a GT.. then that is a sleeper... or get an old rusty LX and mod the hell out of it that is a sleeper.

The Bullitt is just a bit beefer GT... but a LS1 would not be suprised by it....unless it is moded to hell and back....

I was thinking about this subject today and thought I'd throw out my idea for consideration. I like the idea of a Bullitt badge. I also think "GT" should remain since that is what the Bullitt is - a GT with the Bullitt option. So, what about combining the large GT emblem with a smaller script containing the word Bullitt? Take a look at the first GT's with the 4.6 in them. Their badges said GT in large letters and 4.6L in smaller lettering underneath to the right. You'd have the sleeper image of the GT but only an observant person would read Bullitt where many would assume 4.6L was written. My .02.

You hit the nail on the head!!!! GREAT idea! :-B
I agree with bullittgirl also! If you approach the car from the back it looks like a V6 with duals until you see the GT on the side. Most people won't know what the BULLITT is for on the back and odds are they wont see the HUGE hood scoop, or at least until its too late!! LOL

i like, i like!!! that is worth more than 2 cent!!!
When I get two seconds to rub together, I plan to remove the GT emblems and replace them with the V6 running horse and bar. This will look more retro and may suck in a few unsuspecting ricers who think it is a V6 when the pull up next to me. The last thing they will see after that will be my Bullitt logo on the rear deck.
Vroom, Vroom see ya later, dude!
Ain't drivin fun agin!

I'd like to replace the GT badges with what else: Magnum. I'd like the badges to resemble the Bullitt (in style) on the back but smaller. If someone can make this please let me know. Also how much would it cost.
