While at the strip,I noticed how hot the lower intake manifold gets,and how long it stays that way. Now looking at the manifold where it meets the head,looks like a true vertical match,instead of the V,like the Windsor engines. So I don't see why a 1/4 to 3/8ths thick gasket/phenolic spacer would not work here,no port mismatch to worry about! Just need longer screws and adjust the altenator height. Also would have to lengthen the EGR feed tube somehow.
