not its actually not nearly as good....they did a test, can't remember where at the moment, but the stock bullitt intake outperformed it by alot.

depends on what your definition of "better" is. The P-51 outperforms the Bullitt in a small rpm range up high, but the Bullitt outperforms it down low. The Reichard Racing is a monster up top, but nothing down low. The Bullitt seems the be the best overall throughout the powerband IMHO.

Don't forget, most aftermarket intakes are still designed around a single, round throttle body. The reason our intake flows so much better is the twin blade throttle design. It has enough airflow for a stock (even mildly modded) 4 Valve, so it has plenty of room for the 2 Valve.

And I've been told you can get some more out of the intake by having the inside honed out (smoothed out) to make it easier for the air to flow through it.

The '01 Bullitt intake is the best all around performing intake for the 4.6 2V!!!:cool:
Works great stock,modified,and if a power adder is added aswell! :wink:
All out racer,the P51 would be the route to go.
