Well January 22 my Brother, his friend Todd ( who has a Shelby) and I have registered for a track day. I will be bringing my Bullitt, my brother will be bringing his Bullitt and Todd will be bringing his Shelby Super Snake. for a day of fun. I will post some pictures when we get back and hopefully some video. I will be doing my best not to plow any fields this time Paul.... :surprise::nerd2: got some new Hankook tires for the Bullitt and all the fluids are up and ready to go except my Brake fluid will be changing that out this weekend.
Brothers car is all ready to go. and we will be loading it in the trailer. I will drive mine down and back. > gotta get some more track time in before heading up to Gingerman in August.. Bill wish you and Brian could make it down and spend some time on the turns. be safe everyone and watch out for my Brother his is crazy...

I am looking forward to spending the day behind the wheel of the Bullitt making some laps... my brother is getting a little nervous. he called me the other day and wanted me to stop by on my way back from Melbourne to check out his car. it feels a little loose he told me.. Felt fine to me, i talked with him about the track and to drive his comfort level and not worry about anyone else. His buddy Todd got his Shelby all ready and we head down Saturday and relax at the hotel and go over the cars one last time. then Sunday we run.... I got my Gopro all charged and ready...:nerd2:

Well as promised here are some pictures from Homestead.... We had a Blast I had a great instructor and didn't have any Agricultural experiences.. But there was a Vette who had a material experience. sad to see. he didn't pay attention in class about the walls I guess..

Todds Brake caliper decided to leak a little fluid so between sessions we cleaned it up and checked level and he went out again...

we had a great garage setup. it was very windy there though..

They had a photographer there and took some great shots during the first 2 sessions I will post some of them later. we had a blast and I made it back home safe and sound before the storms came through Orlando. There were a ton of exotic cars out there. met a very cool wounded vet who was from Miss with a Mach 1. he was renting one of the PDG corvettes. We had a little of everything, even a Hellcat, a couple Camaro's, some Vipers, Honda's and Miata's what a great day. I even passed a vette as he was spinning on the track just after the turn. Go pro didn't video mainly due to operator error, wasn't paying attention and just took a smap shot instead of videoing the track driving. Rick got some go pro video I am looking forward to seeing, really wanted a video of me passing the spinning vette though. well until next event. back in the garage to work on some more cars..

Tanks for posting Ed. I'm jealous!! Looks like a fun day for sure! Except for the Vette.
I have never seen the Corvette track (35 miles away) at Bowing Green Kentucky but hope to drive it some day in the future.
Looking forward to more pictures and video.

Well as you can see my brothers friend Todd didn't bring his Shelby, he is actually thinking about selling it because he cant control the car when he launches too much power he said. the back end is all over the road. he is happy with his supercharged GT that he brought down. Oh and another note. both Todd and Rick trailered their cars down.. I drove mine.... :nerd2: but here are some more shots from the event.

Never thought I would put a sticker on my Bullitt. EVER.

Now I have quite a few. IMBOC, MCA, Mustang Club of Houston, and two track decals on the back.

Can't wait to earn another one at Texas World Speedway in March!!!
