So its time for me to finally pull the trigger on the exhaust.

Lets have a vote:

1.) Kooks longtube 1 5/8" stainless headers with catted X-pipe

or

2.) SLP longtube headers with catted x-pipe

I'm hoping by June at the latest to get mongoosed and cammed at MPH!! I'm hoping to get it installed before bullitt nationals.

Kooks!

Proven MANY times over that you CAN still drop the trans/perform clutch work WITHOUT having to loosen the headers.

SLP = must loosen the header (PITA) to drop the trans.

From experience ---- KOOKS !!!! I have the std. stainless and have had NO issues with them (but they are only a year old). Car is not driven in bad weather and store in the winter, If year round daily driver Id spring for the ceramic coating.....PS I removed my trany with the headers installed...no problems there....

While I have not had a single issue with my SLPs and they fit GREAT, if there is better access to everything as others say with the Kooks I would go for them instead. From what I have seen both are great quality products.
