For you that know,I am selling my black bullitt 2200 and I am wondering if any one knows what my loan value will be on my car.I have a guy that is going to his bank to get a loan.I am selling my car for $23,900. He came to my work to buy a 2002 GT and said that he already was approved for $21,000 plus he has $2,000 to put with it. My car only has 4,000 miles on it and the guys at work say that a bank should loan up to the invoice,due to the year and the miles ,but my used car guys just go by thier black books. Invoice on our cars is $25,300 Being
in the car bussiness I don't see a problem.
I just need to see if any one has bought a used bullitt and to see what local banks a loaning out.

I just purchased 02333 used from a private party (1402 miles). I can tell you that most banks are NOT going to be loan friendly. I contacted several banks and a credit union and they said, "Bulli-what, never heard of it? All I see is GT!" Most of them were willing to lend in the range $18,000 to $19,500, even though the 'Black Book' at the local 'Stop & Rob' allowed $3,000 for the Bullitt option.

MrStangman,

I do not want to get off of the thread too much, but being curious, I went to autotrader.com and did a search for New 2001 Mustang and found Evergreen Ford in Issaquah, WA, and all of their prices are very high compared to the SouthEast. A 2001 Ford Mustang GT coupe for MSRP $53,817 and a dealer price of $46,597! Whew! That has to be Canadian right?

I just did a work-up of your car at Kelly Blue Book and it said a private sale like yours is $22,510 for an '01 Bullitt with 4,000 miles.

I used my address to get a quote, but here's their link so you can get a better idea;

Hey! That is where we bought our 00Cobra R from! Add $183 more dollars to the top end and it would be the price of our R!

The guy that was going to buy my car was approved for $24,000 , but he is having a house built and it would effect things at this time. Some people that I have talked to say that a person can get a loan up to MSRP because my car only has 4,000 miles. The main issue is the person's credit ,who ever
wants to buy my car or any car. If any one knows who wants to buy my black Bullitt, please let me khow I need to buy a house.
