Have you checked with wrecking yards. There are some that will part out trannys and offer a warranty for an extra $100. I did a wrecking yard tranny on my son's car years ago. It had just been rebuilt and they gave me the tranny with a 5 year no mileage warranty for a little over $700. If you want to do it on a budget, that is where I would start.
Looking for Bronco Info
Hi Guys, I have an 86 fullsize Bronco and I think I need to replace the aod transmission. Do you guys know of a good place to get info? The tranny started slipping and then got so bad it would never get out of first gear the last time I drove it about 4 years ago. Thats when I got 4447. But now I want to start working on Bronco.
