I have seen traces of brake fluid on the sides of the master cylinder also. Had the car in for other warrenty concerns and mentioned the cylinder leak. Was told that cylinder was overfilled at factory. Yeah right. If that is the case why didn't they
offer to siphone some out? Typical dealer visit I guess.
My 01 GT had the master cylinder overfilled--and it was leaking all over. My power steering reservoir was also overfilled--as was my engine oil--seems that Ford wants to give us as much oil and fluids as possible.
And air for that matter--my tires had 45 PSI
in them when I received the car!
