has any one lowered their bullitt? I want to but I looks like the mud flaps would hit over speed bumps. If you have have you had any problems and how is the ride?

I put in Steeda 5th anniversary springs. It only lowered the car 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch, so no clearance issues. The ride is smoother, as they are progressive, but the car handles just as well (if not better) as the overall spring rate is higher.

Black Sunshine, here in Houston, lowered his, but I haven't seen any posts by him lately. He's probably pretty well occupied with his newborn Bullitthead.

I lowered mine ,eibach sportlines ....the front dropped down quite a bit the back looks a lot sleeker but it stiffened up the rear a lot,not really much travel.....the eibach - 2.0 inches front 1.8 rear
hr sprt 1.75 1.5
if i did it again i would go with the h&r springs...talk to the very knowlegable guys at maximum motorsports ....they are suspension gurus,,,make sure you ask them about the roll center.....too much is not good..
