I just love the sound of the MAC O/R H with the stock mufflers, but I was woundering if there is somthing better out there. Have any of you replaced the stock mufflers???? If so please give input on sound.,

Well, I've got a GT, not a Bullitt, but I put on weld-in Dynomax Super Turbos before my offroad H. The mufflers were not quite as loud as I wanted, thus the addition of the H-pipe. I think they're perfect compliments to the catless H-pipe....great tone and not as loud as, say, Flowmasters, but loud enough.

Thanks for the info.... I know the bullitt mufflers are a bit less baffeled then the GT.... just not sure how much...

The bullitts allready come with a complete catback system that is allready retailing for 500 bucks in most mags. You allready made the right move by getting the off road exhaust. Changing the mufflers would kind of be a waste since we allready have one of the best catbacks ever produced on a factory car. By the way my next mod is the mac off road H-pipe how much do you buy yours for.

I can't imagine the Bullitt sound getting any better,when using the stock mufflers and O/R H-pipe!
