My Bullitt was built on April fools day!
I was curious about manfacture dates of other Bullitts.To check open the driverside door and look on the door post and check the inspection decal. The manufacture date should be in the upper left corner.
mine is 04/01

Before this gets started, can somebody post where to find manufacture date? The only date I can find is in the driver side door, which just states month / year, no day. Is there some place else I can find this information? I checked for a build sheet, couldn’t find it anywhere.
Or maybe the register could be modified to except this information?

my car was not built on 04/01/01 it was built on 04/05/01
If you still have your window sticker look at lower right corner last set of six numbers mine is 04 05 01 which is a thursday, I feel sure it is the date of build I will research, if someone else knows please share!

From what I was told the Certificate of Origin,which comes with the paperwork,states the date of build,like it's the cars Birth Certificate. There should be somewhere on the car a build date....to the day. My car has the 4-01 date on the door jamb sticker also.....I take that to be April,2001. Anyone know anything more on this?

i found mine on the lower right hand cormer of my "birth certificate". 04 30 01

OK, assuming the date in the lower right hand corner of the window sticker is the actual birth date, my build date is 04/23/01. DHG #01048

While on the subject, I remembered a date on the valve cover driver side of engine 04 10 01 but paper shows (I think) that the car was built 040501 according to window sticker?
What have I started now this is really confusing,We need someone who knows this subject to speak up!

The build date should be on the top right of your build sheet. # 4875 is 8-6-2001.
The number on bottom right of window sticker is date of invoice by fomoco to dealer which can be two weeks prior to actual build date.
The dealer cert. of orgin is also the invoice date.

For all you new to the club, look for your build sheet wedged between the rear bumper and the impact absorbing foam. At least, one end of it will be taped, usually to the crossmember. Thin arms and lots of patience are helpful in getting out in one piece.
