LOVE MY BLK. BULLITT.HAVE 3400 MI ON IT.DELIVERED #2037 ON OCT 29TH. COULDNT PASS ON ZERO FINANCING AND THE GREAT LOOKS OF THE MUSTANG.HOWEVER AT 2500 MI I NOTICED A PUDDLE OF HYDRO FLUID UNDER THE AXLE.THE LEFT REAR SHOCK BLEW A SEAL.HAS ANYONE ELSE SEEN THIS PROBLEM.THE DEALER SPECIAL ORDERED A NEW DAMPER AND IN 3 DAYS GOOD AS NEW. I DO DRIVE THE BULLITT WITH SPIRIT , SOMETIMES BARKING TIRES IN 2ND GEAR.WOULD THIS PUT STRESS TORQUE ON THE SHOCK SEALS. FOUND THIS SITE LAST WEEK . I NICE TO KNOW I AM WITH FAMILY.

Your shock failure was probably a fluke. Many of us here drive our Bullitts hard, autocrosing, road racing or drag racing. Yours is the first failure I have heard of.

Other than a few minor little things that come with new cars I have to say my Bullitt has been great. The only problem I had so far was the break pedal cover coming off and a bent sill plate that was there when I bought it. The dealer was on it like a rabid dog! I have noticed a little play in my drivers seat during fast acceleration and stopping. Going to tell the dealer on it's next visit.
