Darn, I wish I was able to be there. This sounds like a fun event. I have attended numerous Hoondog events and they are always fantastic. As I explained before, I plan to retire this year and I have lots of things that need to be scheduled and completed so my free time this year will be limited but starting next year, I AM FREE. (Well maybe not Free but cheap. :D )

BTW, my daughters who have attended these events in the past are both hounding me to go to this one. (Not sure how much it is for the event or just a trip to Florida in January.)

Hope everyone has a good time and I will be watching from home on the TV.

I got an e-mail in reference to the lunch tickets I purchased and it says the lunch is on Thursday @ 6m. I thought I was buying a lunch for Friday at lunch time. Lunch @ 6?

Tim,

When we added lunch there was certain things we could not change with Eventbrite. The “event” stats Thursday morning and runs through the weekend.

Lunch is noon Friday. No change.

7am is now the meeting time for the parking lot.

I assume, they we who signed up for the free admission tickets, still pick them up somewhere at the auction tomorrow as I never got anything to print. I do have my lunch ticket so not sure if that is an admission ticket also or not.

Well, it's over. It lived up to the hype and was well worth going to, to see a part of the car's history.

I have to thank Hoondog for setting up the parking, area and lunch. that place was absolutely packed and a madhouse. having our own section and food brought in was a real lifesaver and treat. I am sure it took a lot of work and negotiating to accomplish us having this amenity to enjoy. so thanks to all involved in making that happen. no way we could all have been together any other way in that huge a crowd. all the important aspects were covered from parking to seating to eating and enjoying. Kudos for the behind the scenes work that the rest of us got to enjoy.

Thanks Tim for the update and picture.

Sure hate that I had to miss this event especially since I will not be able to make the 2020 Nationals.

I totally agree that Hoondog does things right. If you have never been to one of their events, please plan on attending one. The annual Nationals, move through East, Mid and West regions each year. This year is considered MID region and next year, I assume, will be West region, then back to East. So, there will be an event near you in the future. Plan to be there.

A big shout out to Charles, Rich, Tony and especially Paul for this fantastic event.

Honored to have been a small part of putting it together but HoonDog group really outdid themselves.

The dinner speeches and meeting Sean and the other guests made the auction very special.

The fitting end for a great story.

All because of a film featuring a green Mustang flying around the streets of San Francisco a half century ago.

Amazing.
