I don't know if it looks any worse than the honeycomb grill - other than the fact that now the satin aluminum-look plastic trim strip around the upper grill is gone.

I guess I am in the minority here but I like our honeycomb grill (except for trying to clear the bugs out of it). I do not like this mesh grill at all. One of these day, I hope to add the honeycomb blackout panel on the back.

I bought a large wash brush, probably for washing RV's, and I use that to clean the grill. My wife says it looks like I am brushing the Bullitt's teeth. I then rinse with the hose and blow dry with an electric leaf blower. Much easier than doing each individual honey comb by hand.
