Has anyone had experience with this Shifter handle. I will one day replace the whole thing with a Pro 5 or Triax, but for now the shifter handle at $35 is in my budget. The reason I'm asking is this handle is adjustable and can be used on any shifter. Let me know, I plan on ordering it unless I hear it's worthless.

Well I'm ordering it today. I did try to remove the stock shifter ball, I heard that they were difficult to remove. I must agree, I tried to unscrew it with a leather glove on and it is not budging. How did you you remove your stock shifter ball?

Mine twists off easily, sometimes while I'm driving I will look down and realize that the shift pattern is upside down.

I guess there is no middle ground. It's either easy off or go buy a rubber wrench.
I will get this off, it's just a matter of how easily and to make sure my son is not in ear shot. I have a feeling my language may get a bit colourful. I wish it was as easy as saying "Oh you mean I turn it the other way" then I could use my favorite Monty Python line.... "What a silly BUNT" if you know this skit then you'll know what I'm saying.
