Saw Jim Wicks of the Mid America Ford meet at a cruise night in Miami, Ok. He is driving a new GT 500 Convertable. Ford wants is bringing a Bullitt down to Tulsa and will have him driving it that week. He says also that they plan to use it as a pace car.

01 all over again. They had the 01 Bullitt on their event shirts and it was the feature car of the weekend.

We had a fun run coming home. The 500 runs good. Traffic was light and got into the triple digits couple of times.

We'll see how this year goes. It appears the Shelby folks are wanting to take over the event as the only "official" National Shelby event. If the other Fords get treated poorly then it will become a purely Shelby event. If the new web site is any indication it does not look good. Let's hope not.
