Was noticing on Bullitt 388s website, www.quicksurf.com/ths/bullitt/, in the shifter installation area that he has 3 buttons right in front of his shifter on the dash area. I only have 2, the rear defroster and the traction control. What is the 3rd one for? Is something missing? Thought the only option was for the Mach460 radio, which I have and by the way is already on the blink after 6 days and 600 miles.

Love Bullitt #2276. An absolute joy to drive. Wish work was farther from home as I get home to fast for 23 miles.

Hey Mid Life Crisis #388, thanks for the response, as this was from your site. Guess you figured that out. Ha! Ha!

What type of lights did you use? Where from?

Hey BlackBullitt#1768 checked out for the other SN and its not there either.

Thanks for the help... This is a great site....

Saw a GT up close tonight and was doing a comparison of the looks as compared to our Bullitts. I am with you bdspony, the Bullitt is the Bullitt do to not having some of the extra stuff and more of some others. I especially like not having the fake rear brake air intakes. I will leave it as is, except for window tint, shifter, the way cool BULLITT & SERIAL NUMBER as is on #388.

With this said, there is nothing wrong with the mods we are seeing, just will keep mine basically stock.

I've been thinking of putting a set of police style "low profile" flashing lights where the fog lights normally reside. Not exactly legal, but a good way to get slow traffic out of the fast lane.

Anybody know how much trouble you can get in for something like that? The more I think about it that might not be such a great idea.

How much trouble for impersonating a police officer...hmmmm I don't think I would try it.

I wouldn't put fog lights in anyway, my air filter is right behind the passenger side hole. Why mess up a lucky break.

Rob00GT,
About 6 years ago, I had an '88 mustang with a good alarm and several horns on it. I remember pulling up behind a friend in our little town and turning on the alram system. The alarm system sound just like a patrol car, and quickly flashing my brights. My friend pulled onto the next street, and then pulled over, along with another car. Well, when I pulled over behind my friend the other car rushed at me and the driver jumped out of his car and ripped me a new A$$ hole. I didn't know he was a police officer on his way home in a regular car. I highly do not recommend do a fullish act like I did. I'm lucky I was still able to drive home that night.

I've seen a couple of guys on the freeway who have old police motorcycles, and they dress up in cop's uniforms. there have been a few times where i have been doing 85 down the freeway, and i come up on one of those guys, and i slow down thinking he's a cop. once i see he's just an impostor i blow by him. but those guys do scare the hell out of me, just thinking about how easy it would be for them to pull someone over and mess with them--either rob, rape, kill, or all of the above.

Does impersonating a police officer ring a bell? As long as you don't use them, you'll be okay.

I put those CDC quad lamps on and man!!! they are so damn bright! I can't believe it. So many people have flipped me off. I wonder if there is a way to dim them a little bit, I heard there isn't. oh well.
