I'm sure every one has their opinion about leaving things stock but I decided to do things a little differently, I love the clean look and everything about the Bullitt but wanted to add something to make mine a little more unique. Lowered with Steeda springs, 255/35/20 front, 275/35/20 back, clear turn signals and a Steeda adjustable panhard bar to realign the backend after lowering it.

This is my favorite picture

Looks very nice! How's the ride and handling on those springs, wheels and tires? I'd like something like that too but I'm already concerned about the lack of a spare tire in the stock configuration. What contingency plan do you have in case the tire inflation kit will not work on a totally blown out tire? Thanks for your input!
Look's great! A buddy at work has a black CS with the same wheels in 20" as well. I prefer 18" to have a little more sidewall but it sure looks nice. Which Steeda's did youy go with?
I love the wheels and the lowered ride height, but now to me it looks like a plain Mustang GT (just my opinion)
Beautiful photos. For what we pay for our cars, I'm all for making mine look like mine. Good job and looking forward to seeing more.

Hey Mike that is one Bad Looking Bullitt   :bigguns:  :bigguns:  :bigguns:  :bigguns:

Congrats on the New Improved Super Racey Look ...............

Mike,

Probably the nicest Black Bullitt I have seen. Congrats on making it your own. I am so in that court.....

Let me know if you get tired of the Shelby Razors. I WANT those for my 05 Mineral Grey.....I am running 255 and 295 x 40's on it, and those would look killer on the MG....

Grats,
Mike and Karen
 That is very very sharp looking.
Just got to say, everyone has different taste's. Your mods are what YOU wanted for YOUR Bullitt. Isn't that what it's all about. Making it your own. I too, have some mods slated for my Black Bullitt, although they will be suttle, it will be FOR ME. (wow, I just used the word, suttle. Never thought I would hear me say that. My trade-in had 5 grand of not so suttle added to her) (I guess time will tell)
The springs are Steeda Sport Springs. They lowered the car 1" in the front and 1.25" in the back (that is based on the GT height). I believe the spring that comes with the car only lowers the car 6mm or about .25" so I was looking for something a little lower but not ridiculous. The ride in the cars stock is pretty tight but this took it to the next level without creating a harsh ride. The entire family goes for rides and nobody complains about their kidneys hurting. My wife sais she didn't notice a difference...I do though!

Here a few more pictures

Another view from the front angle

Wheels and tires line up with the top of the fender, which is a look I really like.

Lastly, a shot of the backend. I'm considering getting the back wheels widened and inch toward the inside in the future since there is still plenty of clearance on the inside but that can wait.

Probably the next change, would be a set of 4 or 6 piston break kit in either black or gray but again that can wait too.

Looks great Mike! Anything goes for a black Bullitt, so knock yourself out. You could do that to a HG Bullitt too since it is your car to do with as you please, but you are likely to get more "keep it stock" feedback. Personally I think that the HG color does not work well with drastic mods, and I don't like a lot of bling anyway.
People who buy a DHG Bullitt love the movie! I myself enjoy the movie, but love black Mustangs.
If I was a Steve Mcqueen fan I would have bought a green Bullitt , and wouldn't change a thing!
I think that the Bullitt package is OUTSTANDING !!!
So with that said I have a Black Mustang with a Bullitt package. I feel very lucky to have this special car!
Great Pic and Striking in Black Color..................

That is one of the best looking black Mustangs of any knd that I have seen. If I went with a black one - I would want it to look like that.
That is why I went with a Black Bullitt, simple ,black ,clean.
No fake plastic stuff or big fog lights. I feel it is a true Mustang in it's basic form.
whiplash,

looks awsome! imho, black bullitts are the ultimate mustangs for modding. i really like the style of your wheels-very classy- and the way the fill up the wells. they look right at home on your ride. great choices! keep the pics coming.
Now that is a retro Bullitt!
