Well I finally got around to fitting the MRT Hood Lift Kit.
Looks great fitted and it gets rid of the hood prop.

It looks so good that I took off the heat blanket and cleaned and detailed the underside of the hood.
I thought I would take off the Hood scoop as well and clean and wax under it.
I finally got around to getting the bugs out of the the honeycomb bit.

MRT is slick. No drilling, super simple bolt in. Less than a one (1) beer project.

looks good. i just got the redline tuning kit. looks a lot like the MRT. did you use rivets?
No rivets, a very easy fit but just be carful taking off the original nuts as they are coated in paint.
I ran a tap and die set over them to clear all the paint and clearcoat

Thats pretty neat. I may have to hook some up now that I know there is no drilling needed.

No drilling or rivets, a very quick neat mod and a quality product from MRT
Not sure about the Redline kit but I did like their stainless steel gas struts.

Bob

EDIT : For info, Looks like a lot of drilling on the Redline kit

No rivets no drilling and installs quickly.... Very easy!!!!!!

I had the Ford dealer body shop paint my brackets DHG.... They did it for free, because Kay had just bought her Milan there

I painted the fender or bottom brackets myself but I liked the look of the upper ones staying stainless.
Also when the hood was shut you could see the lower ones when they were stainless, so I painted them.
