I like the hood...
But to my eye, there are a few things that don't strike me as in balance for styling.
1. the side skirts seem out of place - particularly since there is no front air dam where lines from the bottom of the skirts would match the bottom line of the front dam. And behind the rear wheels there is no matching skirt. Just seems like you stuck some running boards on the side like a pickup.
2. The sticker didn't state the size of the new wheels/tires, so I am assuming they are 20". So even though the car is lowered, with the lower profile tires, it seems there's a bigger gap in the wheel well then the stock Bullitt. Particularly the rear wheel well.
3. I don't like how the SLP quarter vents are recessed so deep.
4. What's different about the lower grill insert from the stock one?
5. I personally don't like the billet fuel door.
6. The Black shift knob seems too black and out of place with the grey & aluminum dash.
7. Any info on engine performance after the cams and tune and H pipe?
I'm assuming it now requires premium fuel.
IMO
Correct on so many levels.....Sorry, but the wheels and tires do not belong on a bullitt....Hell, I have 20's on my 05, and they fill the wheel wells and the car is STOCK SUSPENSION.....
The only difference with the lower grille, is that it has the SilverHorse Racing center honeycomb inserts, readily available at SHR. Personally, I removed the honeycomb grille from ours, not to mention the lower grille....
And, my biggest issue with this, is the horrid job done with the SilverHorse Racing Louvers...I love the SHR louvers, and Karen will probably have them on her Bullitt, but if that was the best install job I could do, I would retire from modding for good......
JMO of course, I could be wrong........
