Here are some pics that Tony Alonso took for me since I could not make it up to MI last weekend. I will let him add the descriptions and such to the pics when he gets a chance.

I like the hood...

But to my eye, there are a few things that don't strike me as in balance for styling.

1. the side skirts seem out of place - particularly since there is no front air dam where lines from the bottom of the skirts would match the bottom line of the front dam. And behind the rear wheels there is no matching skirt. Just seems like you stuck some running boards on the side like a pickup.

2. The sticker didn't state the size of the new wheels/tires, so I am assuming they are 20". So even though the car is lowered, with the lower profile tires, it seems there's a bigger gap in the wheel well then the stock Bullitt. Particularly the rear wheel well.

3. I don't like how the SLP quarter vents are recessed so deep. [oops... meant SHR]

4. What's different about the lower grill insert from the stock one?

5. I personally don't like the billet fuel door.

6. The Black shift knob seems too black and out of place with the grey & aluminum dash.

7. Any info on engine performance after the cams and tune and H pipe?
I'm assuming it now requires premium fuel.

IMO

Please, get a clue here

Its all good until you get to the wheels. They are an eyesore and Im being politically correct with the language, Im sure you can fill in the correct word here, This is a RETRO car MRT. Please, have some taste and put some real Torq thrust wheels on the car, they will forever belong there. Cisco

Correct on so many levels.....Sorry, but the wheels and tires do not belong on a bullitt....Hell, I have 20's on my 05, and they fill the wheel wells and the car is STOCK SUSPENSION.....

The only difference with the lower grille, is that it has the SilverHorse Racing center honeycomb inserts, readily available at SHR. Personally, I removed the honeycomb grille from ours, not to mention the lower grille....

And, my biggest issue with this, is the horrid job done with the SilverHorse Racing Louvers...I love the SHR louvers, and Karen will probably have them on her Bullitt, but if that was the best install job I could do, I would retire from modding for good......

JMO of course, I could be wrong........

My two cents: The hood is interesting (would have to see it in person to know if I really like it) but everything else I see done to the car hugely detracts from the looks of the factory '08/09 Bullitt. I think these kind of mods look more at home on a regular GT.

I went to a popular local cruise night last week and parked near the other two late model Mustangs that were there...a Shelby GT-H and a GT with a something called a "California Concepts" package (lowered, big wheels, skirts w/side exhausts, extra spoilers and two huge stripes). People walked by the GT, paused and glanced at the Shelby and flocked around my car asking questions, taking pics, etc. Understated seems to win again.

I still hate 20's on any car. It almost looks like the front wheel is a 20 and the rear an 18. now, if they would have put a 20 on the rear, and a 17 or 18 on the front, that may have been more retro. I do like just about everything else. Maybe the skirts look better (different) in person. in the pics, they do look slightly out of place. i would like to see some outside pics. It may change everthing. And I'm sure the springs haven't settled, so it will still fall a bit...

A few points -

1) the angle at which I took the photos does not capture the essence of the stance and wheel well gaps - blame the photographer for that one!

2) there is a version of the 20s that do not have the studs in them - this was a test set

3) the rocker panels look better in person (in my opinion) than I have captured them in the photographs

4) not sure what looks "horrid" about the louvers - in person, they looked fine to me (again, could be my photography capability!)

Of course, any comments on appearance are strictly those of the poster, including my own!

ditto that...i like everything but the wheels......those wheels just look way, WAY too over the top to me!! a Bullitt shouldn't have that much "bling". this car is supposed to be "understated...a sleeper.....not have wheels that scream out "LOOK AT ME!!"
everything else is VERY nice!!

The wheels and tires and fuel cap don't do anything for me,like the hood but this package wouldn't be for me not at that price:eek: JMO

If MRT painted the wheels the same color as stock...that dark argent...It would look better.
Overall I like it...
It stills looks subtle and better looking than the Shelby GT and GT500

IMHO I wouldn't have put those louvers on ...these are 68 styled ones out there.
and the aluminum gas cap detracts from the faux gas cap on the rear.
Hood needs black/green mesh not silver.

Another option should be the movement of the antenna to the rear using the 2010 Mustang unit!!!!

The sideskirts seem to pay homage to the 2001...

The wheels are Wheel Replica's 20x8.5 and 20x10 Black Bullitt Motorsports if anyone wanted to know...And as Tony said the wheel is also available without the rivets.

As I said, it is not the louvers themselves. I love the SHR louvers. It's the install that is horrid....They are sunken into the window opening. If you look at the pic that shows the window stickers, you can see that at the rear, they are close to flush with the car body, and sink in towards the front of the car....

Again, Just my opinion......

My opinion is based on one simple quetion; 'Would I pay the money to have it put on my Bullitt?'

Hood, possibly - leaning towards yes
wheels, no
Skirts, no
grill inserts, yes
fuel door, no
shift knob, most definately NO

window louvers? maybe, see below

I'll say it...the wheels suck and look like sheet on that car. I agree 100%!

My opinion is that the overall package works better on a black B. For a HG I vote for the hood, grille inserts, and the side window louvers.
